Kan iemand me de technische details van een koppeling Renault KZ24 uit 1930 bezorgen.. heb handleiding van 1935 model.. maar dit klopt niet. Mvg Bonnie
You can make the difference quickly when you see the sizes' tyres: if they are 45 it is NN, if 50 it is KZ.
The Losange (diamond) on the bonnet indicates the car is not older than 1927. The bumper with 2 stripes indicates the car was build in 1928-29 . The side of the body , a detail indicates about the type of your car, type is NN.
The difference between thr NN1 and NN2, the command for the starter. With foot for NN1 and with hand for NN2.
You can make the difference quickly when you see the sizes' tyres: if they are 45 it is NN, if 50 it is KZ.
On the dashboard, you can see on both extremities a losange. with a thin tool, try to push and make slide the losange (diamond) . One discover the tech informations (type, bore and stroke...) . The second one discover theidentity of the owner.
And the last but not least, On the right of the rear axle, withe a tool, can you scrap on a place you discover your car's build's date.
So hope theses infos can be help and enjoy discover.
Kind regards

Lovely car. I think its a Renault NN And would date the car between 1926-1928 as it has already the diamond shaped Renault badge.
Kind regards from Belgium
A couple of things to look for.... how many cylinders does the engine have? Does she have front wheel brakes? If she has four cylinders - 2120cc and front wheel brakes by the look of her she is most likely a KZ.
The smaller model is the NN 950cc. I had one of those, horribly under powered if you live anywhere except Holland or the fens. So fingers crossed she is a KZ.
I hope you are not going to mess with her too much. She look fabulous. As long as she is mechanically sound and safe just drive her. Good luck!
Nice car to inherit! I would not say no to sucha pearl!
I suggest you look for a aluminium plate probably in the engine compartment. That would tell what kind of Renault it is. KJ, KZ or similar is my guess. And as for year it must be from 1924 and on as the "losange" is a squaire one. Up til 1923 it was mor rounded.
