REO awakes after an 86 year nap!

Basically you're looking at a 10 year old car. This 1917 REO Model M Seven Passenger Touring was put aside in 1927. The odometer is showing no more than 8259 miles, but don't let it deceive you as the Stewart of that time show a 'season total' so maybe the 8000 plus miles were only the miles done in 1927.  However the car was is such good condition that only "tires, fluids and routine maintenance" were required to get her back on the road a few months ago. We understand the twin bloc straight six is in fine fettle and in fact the car needs nothing. Well it may be worthwhile to bring a plaid in order not to disturb the well preserved but exposed upholstery materials... More information to be found under Lot Number 27 of this Saturday's auction by Worldwide Auctioneers.
