Same car, same place, different time!

Two weeks ago, on 14 April, Volvo celebrated that 85 years ago the first mass-produced Volvo car rolled off the production line at the Lundby factory in Göteborg. At 10 in the morning on 14 April 1927, sales manager Hilmer Johansson drove the first mass-produced ÖV4 model through the factory gates. Now, 85 years later, the same model passed through exactly the same gates to celebrate the birthday (click main pic). Today's passengers commented that the ÖV4 was a fantastic car, but that it was also easy to see how much has changed over the last 85 years. Perhaps we may comment that little seems to have changed at the factory gates!
