(Mis)using the Christmas holiday season in the marketing mix is not a thing of today, but at least a 100 years old. While searching the web for an automomotive Santa, we found the old man smiling with a foot on a 1904 Stevens Duryea running board. The toys he is bringing however look rather professional to us (check GunsInternational! ). We should have known of course! Before they got into the car business Stevens was an Arms & Tool Company (click). Now a Stevens Duryea burried in rifles is not an ordinary sight, what about a similar 1904 Stevens Duryea that very recently got 'snowed in'...and liberated somewhere up north in Alaska !
