"The Rig that Runs", St. Louis to Hershey

Among the countless highlights, oddballs, project and concours cars expected in the Capitol of Chocolate next week, a remarkable orphan car(*) will turn up: a very early St. Louis 5 seater tourer with exquisite 32-36HP machinery. As the St. Louis car manufacturer went bankrupt in 1907 the car was made prior to that date. The car presented here is dated earlier, yet is showing remarkable features with the Type XVI in this 1906 advert. From St. Louis based owner Mark Hyman we learned it is not easy to determine the exact production date of car No. 2067 , and any help in this will be highly appreciated (phone: 314-524-6000). However when you decide to add this St. Louis to your collection, you may be out of cash for a short while, yet we strongly advise to keep just a few dollars in your pocket to obtain this 1904 St. Louis moneyclip which is a most definite must-have when you go touring in your St. Louis, whether this is at Hershey, Peoria (where it was made) or St. Louis itself.

The St. Louis will be  presented by Hyman Ltd. at new a Hershey location in Chocolate field  >>> C4F 1-5

(*) an 'orphan car' is one, or one of the very-very few survivors of a make/marque that furthermore only exists in books and memory
