June 5 until June 7 this year, the eleventh edition of the Beforty Rally will be held. Entries are now open!

More often PreWar cars are being accompanied by their somewhat old carers. As the years pass by, the urge to incorporate the youth of today’s society into the world of oldtimers rises. For exactly this reason the Beforty Rally has been held every year for the past 10 years. It is a rally for cars manufactured before 1940, driven and joined by enthusiasts no older than 40. The aim has been to make this particular rally as accessible to young people as possible. Furthermore it should be stated that no matter what car or what manufacturing year (as long as it is before 1940..), the goal is to have the most fun one can have during a rally.

After last year’s field trip to France, the Beforty Rally will be held in The Netherlands this year.

On Friday, a short drive to test the mechanics will lead the participants to a wonderful stop. A collective dinner in the city centre of Haarlem is then accessible for those who wish to join.

An early start on Saturday will lead the drivers through a typical Dutch countryside. While enjoying the scenery, drivers will be tested by the twisty roads and navigators will need to pay attention to make no mistakes as to what exit to take. Halfway through the day, lunch will be served at a car collector. After the long drive everyone will be greeted in a cosy restaurant, again in the heart of the city of Haarlem. Maybe a couple of drinks and some dances later on… 

Sunday morning has proven to be a tough one, given the fun of the past evening. Driving up north, more wide and open roads can be admired. A short coffee break paired with an agility test for the drivers has been organized at one of the sponsors. As the Beforty Rally comes to an end, all the cars gather for the last time to enjoy lunch at a spectacular location. A true grand finale!
