The Canework Mystery. (Upd. a two seater!)

The recent tropical spring days made us select this fine veteran tourer with its refined owned passenger and chauffeur. It was sent to us by Josef Kubista who knows about cars but has no clue about this specific one. The radiator with the hardly integrated toptank should provide a good clue. Check close-up of radiator. A second clue may be the chaindrive, leading straight from the one(?) or two cylinder to the middle of the car where it connects with a simple gearchange contraption. The outrageous 4 seat tourer body including doors entirely made of canework, must have taken a few hours or weeks from a very good craftsman. Where all this happened? The registration plate may be the best lead to solve all mysteries in the picture.

same styl as the Peugeot bébé in the Schlumpf collection
