The Cogs of War

On D-Day we think of the brave men that landed in Normandy. Yet their effort would not have been possible without the many women that stayed behind and did their bit in the factories. Women like Dorothy Miller and Sylvia Dreiser who worked 8-hour days in the Melrose Park Buick plant near Chicago producing gears for aircraft engines.
