The Cool Mystery ( UPDATE IV: Hotchkiss, Eysink or Germain?)

While the temperature in our office slowly rises above 30C (= 86F) there’s nothing we like better than cooling off by looking at an old photo. For instance this one of a group of people having fun on the ice of the frozen Zuiderzee. Both horse-sleighs and cars belonged to the grandfather of Dirk Regter (he’s the one taking his Model T on a trip around the world). Dirk’s grandfather owned a rental company for carriages and automobiles. Dirk wonders about the makes of the two cars. One looks like a Renault to us but we don’t know about the other. Can you tell us?

(UPDATE II : Jan Bruijn excludes Delaunay as they had the gastank right behind the engine and a filler cap should be visible. He gambles: Eysink)
