The Moped Tool Kit Mystery (Upd. III: Swiss Army Issue?)

Several years ago the mother-in-law of editor RB gave him this tool kit as a birthday present. She had bought it in an antique shop, thinking it would fit very nicely on his moped, a 1966 Solex Oto. She was wrong, though, as we think the kit is much, much earlier, perhaps even 1920´s. There are several tools inside the bag, although we don’t know what their job is. Okay, there´s a can to put oil in, and of course we recognize the tire lever (click main pic). But we haven´t got a clue about the other parts. Unfortunately there´s not a marking, number or name to be found on either of them. The leather bag is about 18 centimetres high, about seven inches. Please tell us what you think this is!

The hook shaped tools (bottom left) can indeed be used to tighten the barrel to a weapon or (timer) fuses to artillery shells. Fro the size of the oil brush I would go for a medium size (machine) gun.

Stuart and Dennis, these things do have names; it is a C spanner in English.

Presumably part of the cleaning kit is missing. There appears to be the middle part of a rod with a female thread at one end and male at the other so at least two more pieces needed. Is the one with the joint in the middle for cleaning the breech? Is it for a specific weapon? Not much to do with cars though, is it?

The tool on the bottom left looks like a wrench for tightening a moped exhaust or motor exhaust. Many moped's and motors (sachs, bmw) had their exhaust fixed to the cilinder with a single large nut. Most of these nuts weren;t hexagonal but rather round with either small notches or flanges. The wrench would fit nicely around the notch or flange it was designed for.

The only tool I recognise, other than the oilcan/lever, is the Hook.
I had a similar one with the toolkit of my Bike which I had as a teenager.
This fitted the bottom bracket into a small slot, where the pedals fitted and allowed adjustment/extraction there.
As for the others ? ? ?.....
