3D tour at Renault Billancourt

We all know the old black&white pictures of the early car factories and some patches of film (primarily Model T production).  Today we can see a lot more! Using modern computer and 3D technics, the French University d'Evry has started a project in which they bring the old factories back to life. Thanks to them we now have an insight in what it was like in 1920s Renault Billancourt factory or the early Clement-Bayard factory, which was later used by Citroën. A very interesting project of which we hope to see much more!
(with special thanks to French Automobile expert Fons Alkemade; the website may be in French, the pictures speak for themselves)
