‘The Pioneer Run ® Has Quads!’

The Sunbeam Motorcycle Club would like to share some important news concerning its premier event, the annual Pioneer Run®. It is hoped that in so doing we will tease out some ‘shy' vehicles that we rarely see and for which there are few events, namely, the Quadricycles.

In a historic decision, The Sunbeam Motor-Cycle Club, organisers of the annual Pioneer Run® has announced that as of the next event in March 2020, Quadricycles will be eligible as entrants. These machines must be dated either by the Pioneer Register® or the VCC (Veteran Car Club) in order to comply, and they should have the following features – Four Wheels, Handlebars, A Single Steering Column, Saddle, and Pedals.

With a greater opportunity for owners of Quadricycles to exercise them properly, the Club believes that their inclusion will both enhance the variety of machinery running, and also add to the overall enjoyment of the event by the public.
