The Road to Paris

Last week saw the start of the 2010 version of the Peking to Paris event. Brian Noik from South Africa informed us that this year two teams of his countrymen entered the epic race. One team consisting of Detlev Borner and Peter Gillespie are driving a 1929 Studebaker President FH. They have startnumber 50 and you can follow their progress on their website. The other team are Wenzel Kerremans and Tony Watson who carefully prepared their 1929 Rolls Royce 20/25 (number 54 - click main pic) for the long drive. By now both teams are somewhere in Mongolia. Let’s hope they make the 10.000 miles to Paris!
