The Wail of the Siren

What child doesn't love a fire engine? This young lady clearly enjoys cranking the siren on the Buffalo Brockway from Westhampton Beach, New York, even as she shares the chore with her little brother. The Buffalo Brockway was just one of many pieces of fire apparatus at this year's AACA Hershey show. If there was a prize for the longest apparatus it surely would have been won by this American LaFrance ladder truck from the neighboring Southampton (New York) Fire Department.
