This picture was sent in by a classic car enthusiast and collector of postcards. In specific, postcards that show cars that are incidental on a photo. “So no postcards of cars. Rather, postcards of streets where there happens to be a car”, is what Bob wrote to us. He also told us he knows more about PostWarClassics and therefore contacted us. Let this mystery exactly be our cup of tea!
It is a postcard of Maidenhead, in the South East of England. The card was probably first published in 1910, although it was not posted until 1920. Sometime in the Edwardian era, the picture must have been taken.
Can anyone help to identify the car? Your help would be highly appreciated.
