Back to Montlhéry at last!

Next year May at last we will be able to enjoy the revival of a very wellknown and dearly missed event: Vintage Montlhery !

Possibly as a fruit of 'The Crisis' the project developpers may have lost their appetite for these grounds just south of Paris. So the cars and bikes will be able to make their rounds once more at the French 'Brooklands' , better known as Linas Montlhery.

In the early days of PreWarcar , the early years of this millenium 'Montlhery' was among the top three events of France, with flocks roaring twenties racers and their drivers matching both in looks and noise.

The photos here show one of those cars that Must be there.  The Type 57 G made a grand appearance during the GP de l'ACF of 1936 . Drivers were Robert Benoist and Philippe de Rothchild. The two men will not be there in 2011, May 7 & 8, But the magnificent type 57G  has no reason at all not to be there. We will show up for sure as well. And you?
