What car are these Rotax lamps from?

These Rotax lamps were in the loft of my house when I bought it 40 years ago.

I was wondering if anyone could tell me what vehicle they are from, or any vehicle they would fit and an approximate value.

Any information will be appreciated.

Thanks

Hi Gale,

What are the sizes i.e. diameters & depth ?

Also, did you ask to the vintage headlamps people ?
I believe that given that they restore all sorts of vintage headlamps they would have a pretty good idea of what these might be.

Cheers,

Patrick

Yes I did ask genie of the lamp london and they said they would fit a few different vehicles but they are not sure which.
Other companies did not get back to me - vintage headlamp restoration.

Hi,
The front of them - outside rim to outside rim - measures 8 3/4 inch.
The depth - from front of rim to the back - measures 7 3/4 inch.
Thanks

Hi,
The only vehicle I have seen use this type of mounting is Daimler. As they are Rotax assume 1920`s sleeve valve, they were using Lucas lights in the early 1930`s.

If there is a riveted on Rotax plaque it will usually have a number which would be an enormous help. Sometimes there is s number on the rim instead

Hi,
The Rotax Plaque just says Rotax London and Birmingham.
There is noting on the rim.
There is the number Kl585 where the 4 holes are at the back

Thanks Gale
