I am thinking this is a 1907 Thomas Flyer 6-40. It is interesting to me that Thomas created a distinctive radiator shape, but only used it for a year (during which this distinctive shape won the New York to Paris race) before adopting a more commonplace radiator.

This is a 1907 Thomas Flyer 4-70 Tourabout. Thomas is certainly best known for winning the 1908 New York to Paris race, although arriving second after the German Protos team. Less known is that the Thomas Motor Company was quite successful in the taxi market around 1906/07.

1907 Thomas Flyer 4-60hp Tourabout
This was the last year Thomas used the early style radiator before switching to the Mercedes type used from 1908 forward.
The 4-60 Thomas was a well designed chassis that proved its strength, agility, and incredible endurance when it won the New York to Paris race in 1908.
The chassis included a 5.5" x 5.5" four cylinder T-head engine, four speed transmission, disc clutch, and final dual chain drive. When George Schuster returned home from the around the world race he had his hand in the chassis refinement of the 4-60 and added an extra 1/4" to the bore pushing the 1909 4-60 models to 573 cu inch.
