John sent a letter to the editor. He told us that he found this photo in a Dutch magazine 'De Prins der Geillustreerde Bladen'. The caption tells us about Mr and Mrs Glidden from Boston, in The Hague, Netherlands duringthier world trip. And that the photo is taken in front of hotel 'Viex Doelen'.
He wrote to us “It is without a doubt, 'Charles Glidden, with his wife Lucy, who were the first (in 1902) to circle the world in an automobile and repeated the feat in 1908. The Glidden tours, according to Wikipedia, were named after Charles J. Glidden, a financier and automobile enthusiast, who presented the AAA with a trophy first awarded to the winner of the 1905 tour. This photo accompanying the Wikipedia article, with the Gliddens in London, shows a car that is surprisingly similar to the one in 'De Prins der Geillustreerde Bladen'.
A mystery is the registration number A 3622 that could have been issued to the Gliddens for the duration of their stay in NL. In 1922, the same number went to a motorist in Groningen, the Netherlands.”
Can anyone answer the question for John: What make is the Gliddens’ car?
