What is the background of this sculptured grin? Is it that he arrived alive and in one piece at the third route check in The 100 Miles? Is it because he had for once no crazy Alvis repair bills this year? Is it because he lost his glasses on the way? Or is it because of the heartwarming welcome by this group of typical Amsterdam housewives in the Amsterdam P.C. Hooftstraat? Happy Holidays!

editor: sorry top diappoint you, but it is a straightforward photo. There was a Maxim Miss election in the PC Hooftstraat when the rally passed....

From the way those, err,(typical?) 'housewives' are dressed, it must be at least 20 degrees warmer in Amsterdam than it is here in Englsnd- which gives two good reasons to head for the airport!
