When we saw this very nice print we immediately knew that this was to be today’s quiz car. The marque is not widely known, but its design was very advanced for its day. It was founded by a Marques, but its chief designer was a man who later worked for Fiat and Itala. His engine was the first to use aluminum pistons. Production of the first cars was delayed because of the death of the chief backer and a move to larger premises. When it finally came on the market two years later it was still the same model. Our quiz car has a streamlined aluminum body and was successful in several hill climbs and sprints. They also competed in the Targa Florio. To earn the PreWarCar T-shirt tell us the make, if possible the year of this quiz car and the name of its creators.
