Which way to go?

In 1997 I purchased my 1930 Model A Ford Tudor. Needing new tires, I opted for whitewall tires to spruce up the look of the car. Fast forward 22 years and it is again time for new tires. Which way to go? Today’s look and thinking is all black tires (as original) are fitting for a car like this but the whitewall tires do stand out. I have not made my mind up.....What do you think?

I have a 1928 Tudor Sedan like yours, plus a 1928 Model A Roadster. They have white walls. They do look good but as mentioned above, in the day they were a low priced no nonsense car. When I next need new tyres they will be black walls.

Hi,

I would choose the original black ones. Whitewalls are appropriate in a class where a Model A does not belong and should not pretend to be part of. But if you enjoyed them for 22 years and still do, why not.
