Who can identify this PreWarCar in India?

Thomas reached out to us with a request for identification. In the enclosed picture, you see the car in question. The only information we have is that the picture was taken in India, probably sometime in the 1920s.

Who can help identify this PreWarCar and tell Thomas more about it?

The 1929 Oaklands, Buicks, Auburns and Pontiacs all had a very similar radiator grille with a vertical centre divide, but only the Oakland had vertical bonnet louvres in 5 divided sets. The others had continuous louvres with no spaces between them, and those on the Auburn were slanted not vertical.
