In a month time some 50 crews will not see any of this in all typical Dutch scenery. They will not see the beautiful bridges. Not the worldfamous canals. Not the picturesque houses. They will only see the poorly marked roads. The countless curves.  And steep dike shoulders.

 Once more we have been checking the itinerary and give you a last chance to see how beautiful the area just outside Amsterdam is. But let there be no misunderstanding, this lovely countryside will turn into a freezing dark landscape for the die-hards who are brave enough to venture out in their pre war machinery.

The only warmth will come from Philips christmas candles, neon deer and other lighthearted creativity, which traditionally illuminate the region in the dark nights preceding Christmas.
